Takeovers & Mergers

• Acted as the Strategic and Financial Advisor to the proposed acquisition of a hospital support services concessionaire by a government-linked investment company.
• Formulated the ‘Strategic Acquisition and Funding Blueprint’ for the Malaysian Government’s acquisition of a public-listed real-estate & property-development company.
• Developed the ‘Acquisition and Funding Plan’, and subsequently formulated a strategic ‘Transformation Blueprint’ for a private university on behalf of an education foundation.
• Devised an ‘Advisory and Funding Strategy’ on the acquisition of a specialist medical centre for a major healthcare group.
• Performed the financial due diligence on the acquisition of an aerospace design company by a public-listed company (in consortium with a number of private investors.

Public-Private Partnerships (“PPP”) and Private- Financing Initiatives (“PFI”)

• Acted as the PFI Strategic and Financial Advisor for the RM320 million development of a MARA Institute of Technology University (UITM) campus in Jasin, Malacca.
• Developed the ‘Public Sector Comparator (“PSC”) Framework’ for the Economic Planning Unit at the Malaysian Prime Minister’s Department for the purpose of the evaluation of PFI in the area of healthcare and education.

Strategic Transaction Advisory

• Acted as Advisor on the commercial and financial investment proposition for a concession renewal by a healthcare support services concessionaire.
