- Acquisition of Convenience Shopping Sdn Bhd, the owner and operator of the 7-Eleven chain of convenience stores in Malaysia, for a cash consideration of RM80.0 million.
Berjaya Media Berhad (formerly known as Nexnews Berhad)
- Acquisition of the entire equity interest in Sun Media Corporation Sdn Bhd (“SMCSB” for a total consideration of RM40,000,000 satisfied by the issuance of 40,000,000 new Irredeemable Convertible Preference Shares (“ICPS”) of RM0.10 each in Nexnews credited as fully paid-up at an issue price of RM1.00;
- Proposed full and final settlement by Nexnews of indebtedness due and owing by SMCSB and its subsidiary, involving the issuance of 120,000,000 new ICPS credited as issued and fully paid-up at an issue price of RM1.00 per ICPS;
- Acquisition of 70% of the equity interest in The Edge Communications Sdn Bhd for a total consideration of RM14,000,000 satisfied by the issuance of 14,000,000 new ICPS credited as fully paid-up at an issue price of RM1.00 per ICPS; Exemption to Net Edge Online Sdn Bhd and parties acting in concert with it from the obligation to extend a mandatory offer for all the remaining Nexnews Shares and ICPS not already held by them upon completion of the Rights Issue; and
- Proposed exemption to Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Tan Chee Yioun from the obligation to extend a mandatory offer for all the remaining Nexnews Shares and not already held by him upon completion of the Rights Issue.
Gold Coin (Malaysia) Berhad
- Acquisition of the entire equity interest in Rentas Padu Sdn Bhd, Dayadil Sdn Bhd, Bumisuci Sdn Bhd and Ishandal Sdn Bhd holding an aggregate of 65% equity interest in Natural Avenue Sdn Bhd from Berjaya Land Berhad and Hornbill Timur Sdn Bhd for a total cash consideration of RM162.5 million.
Lion Corporation Berhad
- Corporate and debt restructuring scheme of Lion Corporation Berhad involving the following transactions:
- acquisition of equity interests in various companies at an aggregate transaction value of RM2.386 billion;
- the issuance of RM100.0 million nominal amount of Irredeemable Convertible Unsecured Loan Stocks;
- the disposal of equity interests in various companies at an aggregate transaction value of RM17.3 million; and
- the exchange of shares in Lion Land Berhad for shares in Amsteel Corporation Berhad valued at RM71.0 million.
Mitrajaya Holdings Berhad
- Acquisition of 40% equity interest in Samitra for a cash consideration of stat 30,000,000 or approximately RM15.3 million. Samitra is the owner and developer of the Samitra Golf & Country Estate in Johannesburg, South Africa.
DutaLand Berhad (formerly known as Mycom Berhad)
- Debt and corporate restructuring scheme of DutaLand Berhad (formerly known as Mycom Berhad) involving the following transactions:
- Settlement of the trade and other creditors of certain subsidiaries amounting to RM65.8 million via conversion into up to 59.3 million new Mycom Shares at an issue price of RM1.00 per Mycom Share and waiver of debts amounting to approximately RM6.5 million;
- Proposed inter-company settlement of net amount owing by Mycom to Olympia Industries Berhad (“OIB”) of RM140.7million with the issuance of RM140.7 million nominal value of Irredeemable Convertible Unsecured Loan Stocks (“ICULS”) and compensation for the zero coupon rate for the first two years of ICULS amounting to RM7.6 million to be satisfied by the issuance of 7.6 million new Mycom Shares at an issue price of RM1.00 per Mycom Share; and
- Transfer of entitlement by Mycom at no cost to its existing shareholders of part of the Mycom Entitlement to subscribe for 9.8 million new ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in OIB(“OIB Shares”) with 9.8 million detachable free warrants (“OIB Warrants”) to be issued pursuant to the renounceable rights issue to be undertaken by OIB (“Proposed OIB Rights Issue”) on the basis of one (1) new ordinary OIB Share with one (1) detachable free warrant for every four (4) existing Mycom Shares held (subsequent to the Proposed Capital Reduction and Proposed Capital Consolidation) at an issue price of RM1.00 per OIB Share.
Ekovest Berhad
- Review of profit and cash flow projections of Danga Bay Sdn Bhd, the developer of the Danga Bay township in Johor, for the purpose of the application by Ekovest Berhad to the Securities Commission in connection with the proposed acquisition of the entire equity interest in Danga Bay Sdn Bhd.
Knusford Berhad
- Proposed disposal of Wengcon Machinery Sdn Bhd, a company engaged in the leasing of heavy machinery and vehicles.
MTC Engineering Sdn Bhd
- IPO readiness evaluation and Indicative valuation of the selected projects of MTC Engineering Sdn Bhd.
Johan Holdings Berhad
- Disposal by Johan Investment Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Johan Holdings Berhad, of the entire equity interest in Diners Club (Singapore) Private Limited to Ezy Net Pte. Ltd. for a disposal consideration of SGD103,586,103 (Equivalent to approximately RM313.98 million).
- Proposed Offer to George Kent (Malaysia) Berhad to subscribe for 40% equity interest in Dynacare Sdn Bhd for up to RM40.0 million, and the Proposed Right to George Kent to build the manufacturing plant and installation of machinery for the Gloves Business for a contract sum of RM624.1 million.

- Acquisitions by Impiana Tioman Villas & Residences Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Impiana Hotels Berhad, of five (5) contiguous parcels of lands for a purchase consideration of RM7.5 million.
